GTA 5 most likely to be released in 2013 claims analyst Arvind Bhatia. According to him GTA V will be launched in the publisher’s fourth fiscal quarter ending March 31, 2013.
He also confirmed there could be a possibility of a Wii U version.
Some reasons why GTA 5 will be launched in 2013 – analyst
1) Rockstar would prefer releasing the game in early 2013 to avoid the competition from the big holiday releases such as Call of Duty, Assassin’s Creed etc.
Even GTA 4 was released on April 29, 2008.
2) Smoother earnings in FY14 especially if GTA V launches in the last month of FY13 (March 2013)
3) With their support to Nintendo Wii U, they will have a larger install base.
4) More extra months to finalize the game.
